The campsite

Our durable approach

Our engagement

At La Cale Sauvage, we commit to limit our ecological footprint as much as possible and our impact on the landscape in order to preserve the natural space of the Migron reserve.

Small daily gestures

Promote the local products by using local businesses, compost, recycle, manage our waste, minimize our energy consumption, use natural household products, raise awareness among our customers... We also prioritize our wish to re-vegetate the campsite.

Energy management

Our wish is to change all the bulbs and gradually move to LED lighting, and solar night lighting that shines downwards, so as not to disturb the animals too much.

Water management

Push buttons in showers help reduce water consumption.

Cleaning products

Our wish is to use eco-labeled or certified cleaning products, firstly for the health of our team who use them daily, but also for the well-being of our holidaymakers.

Local producers

We try as much as possible to give priority to local actors and companies involved in our approach.

Green areas

The campsite does not use phytosanitary products and we mow the grass as late as possible. We took over the campsite in 2024, and immediately, we decided to plant 400 forest plants with the aim of revegetating the campsite.

Waste separation bins

The campsite has sorting bins which are at your disposal. Please respect the sorting instructions, it is important to us to recycle waste as much as possible.

For stays in mobile homes, we provide a yellow bag, which allows you to sort your waste and place the bag directly in the yellow bins.

A practical example

Tree planting

As part of our commitment to environmental conservation, we ask for to each client an eco-participation during their stay. (0.30 euro cents per adult). This contribution allows us to finance the purchase of trees, plants and other vegetation in order to revegetate our campsite.

Thanks to your support, we can continue to improve our site by bringing more shade for the comfort of our campers, while creating new habitats for biodiversity. This initiative contributes to making our campsite more pleasant & greener, while reinforcing our respect for the nature..

By being part of this approach, you actively participate in the preservation of our beautiful region and to the improvement of the local ecosystem. Thank you for helping us maintain this link with nature and make our camping a place even more welcoming for all !
